Lives can be saved through your involvement with a program that channels badly needed medical supplies to Developing countries. You can support the program by leading other volunteers who sort and box these items at a collection and distribution center in southwest Houston. Medical professionals -- nurses, doctors and medical assistants -- are ideal candidates, as are retirees. A minimum of five hours a month is all that is required.
