Groups up to 8, donate meals and distribute them at RoseMary's Place in Midtown Houston.
This is our long-term supportive housing facility for 149 residents for an alternative to the streets. It's a fresh start and a safe environment for those in need, providing dignified housing for the population dealing with homelessness. There is no central kitchen or meal service there. Food insecurity is a major issue so volunteers can have a huge impact.

RoseMary’s Place: Our new permanent supportive housing facility for 149 residents for an alternative to the streets. It's a fresh start and a supportive environment for those in need, dedicated to providing dignified housing solutions for our homeless population.
- We usually see 30-40 residents participate.
- The food needs to be packed to-go, although some residents may stay to chat and eat there in the common area.
- It can be a simple breakfast, a bag lunch, or a hearty meal. That's up to you. Just let us know what to expect.
- We suggest choosing an hour to serve, 9 am, Noon, or 3 pm.
- Volunteer food servers should cover their hair with a hat or hair net.
- Weekday meals are always needed.
- We need all adults attending to register on our website and accept our waivers. Parents sign for children under 18. https://mhihouston.org/register-to-volunteer/
- We can discuss available dates when you're ready. Volunteer once, or on a regular schedule.
