BakerRipley’s Adult Education department, in partnership with San Jacinto College, is in search of ESL Tutors/Instructors to work with students who do not speak English as their first language.
What will I do?
- Help students feel more confident using English.
- Help with speaking and pronunciation.
- Teach new vocabulary words.
- Assist with practicing listening through Burlington English courses.
What is required of me to be successful in this role? - Strong command of English Language, both written and spoken.
- Patience, cultural sensitivity, and passion for assisting others with growing their proficiency of the English language.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills .
- Must have at least a High School diploma, Bachelors Preferred
