- Volunteer Interviewers needed for the summer months! The Operation ID In-Person Interviewer conducts face-to-face client interviews and assists individuals seeking identification documents and supporting records. This role supports accurate intake, documentation review, application assistance, and client recordkeeping during OPID service days. The interviewer helps maintain an organized, respectful, and confidential service environment while providing compassionate, trauma-informed support. This position directly supports Operation ID’s mission to reduce barriers to housing, employment, healthcare, and other essential services.
- Conduct face-to-face client interviews during Operation ID service days.
- Help clients navigate identification document processes, including Texas IDs, driver’s licenses, birth certificates, and supporting records.
- Review referrals, applications, and documentation for accuracy, completeness, and eligibility.
- Provide clear, respectful, trauma-informed guidance to clients experiencing barriers such as homelessness or instability.
- Maintain accurate intake records, case notes, tracking forms, and client information in Apricot or similar systems.
- Support organized client flow, service-day operations, shift transitions, and communication with volunteers and staff.
- Prepare documentation packets, check requests, and completed applications for submission.
- Protect client confidentiality while maintaining a professional, welcoming, and client-centered service environment.
