HFB's Senior Box Home Delivery Program currently serves over 750 homebound seniors through a Federal CSFP Program that we refer to as Senior Box which includes a monthly home delivery of a shelf stable food box and a block of cheese.
Over 50 routes consisting of 10 stops each have been developed to keep delivery times around 2 hours per route. Routes are located conveniently in and around Harris County enabling drivers to choose a route near you. We are recruiting volunteers that are willing to provide this service once a month to 10 seniors for at least 3 consecutive months.

- Qualifications: Volunteers must have 1. reliable transportation, 2. valid driver’s license, 2. current vehicle insurance, 4. pass a criminal background check and 5. complete an online Civil Rights Training.
