Volunteers are needed to spend time with our hospice patients.
We at Enhabit (Formally Encompass) are looking for compassionate, patient, kind volunteers to spend time with our patients. They need and want someone to share their final days with and we want people with a nurturing nature to give them that most basic of needs, human contact. You would spend time with the patients talking, listening, playing games or anything the patient would want or possibly need.
Our offices are in Clear Lake, Southeast Houston and the Woodlands area but we have patients all over the Greater Houston Area. The training would be done in our Houston office (45 South & Fuqua area) but the opportunity would be in the Channelview Area.
Due to the nature of the patients’ conditions each volunteer will be required to go through training to volunteer with our patients. The process to become a volunteer takes a little bit but the reward of giving your time to these patients is beyond measure. You can give these people a final dignity in their final days. Thank you.
