As one of the largest nonprofits in Houston, the Houston Food Bank’s Volunteer Services Department schedules over 70,000 volunteers per year. We are currently recruiting Volunteer Programming Assistants to ensure the Houston Food Bank continues to be a favorite volunteer destination.
Volunteer Programming Assistants will assist with special volunteer events and programs. Scope of work will involve planning, implementing and measuring initiatives to achieve consistent volunteer participation and ensure an exceptional volunteer experience.
Volunteer Programming Assistants will further develop professional and marketable skills while receiving credit for services hours.
