We are looking for volunteers that are passionate about working in their community to facilitate a women's health education class. This program, (The Women's Health Advocacy Program) teaches women to practice prevention and be proactive about their health care in order to reduce illness and promote health. By providing health education classes to the community, you can empower women to become advocates for their health, while teaching resiliency skills. Course topics include Positive Thinking, Goal Setting and Decision Making, Communication, Stress and Coping, Exercise, Nutrition, Addictions, Violence, Reproductive Health, and Health Monitoring.
