Description
The Assistance Program at Northwest Assistance Ministries is in need of volunteer counselors to help families in need. The Assistance Program services include direct assistance and referrals for food, clothing and household items; rent and mortgage payments; natural gas and water bills, and more. Volunteer counselors interview clients on a one to one basis for evaluation of client needs and assessment of available resources. Volunteer Counselors are asked to volunteer on the same day each week, from 9:30 am ? 3:00 pm. Currently, there is a great need for counselors on Wednesdays and Fridays. Bilingual (Spanish) volunteers are in great demand.
