Hours: Negotiable; M-F 9AM-5:30PM Location: BPSOS office; occasional meetings outside of office Duties (Responsibilities): Possible tasks include: ? Work with torture survivors, trafficking survivors, Ike victims, or immigrant program ? Legal research and writing ? Performing intake for new clients ? Assisting clients with immigration, visa, medical disability waiver applications ? Providing interpretation and translation for clients Requirements (Qualifications): Volunteer should be mature, trustworthy, and dedicated towards serving the Vietnamese community. Bilingual fluency in English and Vietnamese or Spanish is helpful, but not required. Volunteer must either have a law degree or be in law school. Volunteer must undergo training given by BPSOS staff attorney before working with clients. Benefits: ? Real-world, hands-on experience in legal services ?
