Hermann Park Conservancy is excited to announce this year's annual Run in the Park, Saturday, November 10, 2018. Many volunteers are needed no matter your skills; we have a job for you! Volunteers will be needed from 6am to 1pm. Volunteer tasks include manning the water station, setting up tables/tents for vendors, and directing runners/walkers along the route.
Sign up to be a part of the excitement. Groups, individuals, adults and youth/teens are welcome. RSVP by November 8th.
Available shift(s)
6am to 10am Set-up (adult/high school), Volunteer Table (adult), and man Post Party (adults) Run Marshalls (adult/high school) Water Station (adult/youth.), Post Party relief (adult) 1K Kid’s Run (adult/high school);
9:30am to 1:30pm Take down and Clean-up (adult/youth)
Volunteer positions/duties:
Set-up: assist with the start-finish line, all tents & tables, safety cone placement, etc.
Volunteer Sign-in table: greet volunteers, receive paperwork, and direct to work areas
Post Party: man tables to handout snacks/beverages, t-shirts.
Kids Run Judges/1K: marshal route, cheer, and run alongside youth race runners (instructions provided on site)
Clean-up: help breakdown tables, tents, pick up trash, etc.
Run Marshals go directly to assigned site (map to be provided) cheering and guiding runners & pedestrian control.
Post Party: man tables to handout snacks/beverages, t-shirts, beer-tub
Water Station: set up area and handout water (provided); great for younger participants
