FOX 26 News is looking for volunteers to help answer the Take it to Akin consumer hot line.
Volunteers work directly with news veteran Emily Akin. Ms. Akin has been helping Houstonians solve their consumer issues for 20 years.
Hours: Monday thru Wednesday 10:30am to 1:30pm. Each volunteer works one shift, on the day of their choice.
Requirements: Patience and willingness to help our viewers with their consumer issues. Essentially Volunteers try to help our viewers help themselves.
No phone experience necessary, but it helps. All new volunteers will be trained.
We have resources the volunteers use to guide our viewers.
Location: FOX 26 Studios, 4261 Southwest Freeway.
