The CEC recently created and began implementing a volunteer program that would benefit from the help of a volunteer who can continue to strengthen and improve the program. The volunteer coordinator would be responsible for the following:
- Reviewing and understanding the volunteer policy manual & handbook, as well as ensuring its application
- keeping up with volunteer applications
- setting up meetings with potential volunteers
- ensuring volunteer hours are being tracked
- working the volunteer board members to improve their service
- creating new volunteer opportunities and marketing them online and at local universities.
