Join the GBF Water Protection Team and Houston Parks for a hands-on water-based cleanup at Brock Adventure Park, the future site of one of our NOAA-funded litter booms! This effort supports the health of Greens Bayou and nearby waterways by removing litter and debris before it flows downstream into Galveston Bay.

TASKS:
- Paddle a kayak or canoe to collect trash from the water and banks of Greens Bayou
- Assist with hauling trash onto landing areas for disposal
- * Volunteers must bring their kayaks, personal flotation devices, and all other supplies for their kayaks*
- Paddling experience is not required, but is helpful. Just bring your energy and love for protecting our waterways! All participants will receive a safety briefing and cleanup tools.
