Friends of Down Syndrome is hosting our Annual Family Picnic in the Park on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our campus in Houston (8425 West Rd, Houston, TX 77064). This free outdoor event is a celebration of our amazing participants—adults with Down syndrome—and their families, volunteers, and supporters.
We’re looking for dedicated, friendly volunteers to help us make this event joyful, smooth, and unforgettable for the community we serve.
-We’re looking for a fun, upbeat performer to delight our guests—especially one of our participant favorites: an Elvis impersonator! If you sing, dance, or entertain and love to make people smile, we’d love to have you perform at our event.
