Friends of Down Syndrome is hosting our Annual Family Picnic in the Park on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our campus in Houston (8425 West Rd, Houston, TX 77064). This free outdoor event is a celebration of our amazing participants—adults with Down syndrome—and their families, volunteers, and supporters.
We’re looking for dedicated, friendly volunteers to help us make this event joyful, smooth, and unforgettable for the community we serve.
- Be the first smiling face our guests see! Volunteers will greet families, check RSVPs, hand out event materials (like raffle tickets or maps), and direct people to different areas of the event. Ideal for outgoing and organized individuals.
