Friends of Down Syndrome is hosting our Annual Family Picnic in the Park on Saturday, June 7, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at our campus in Houston (8425 West Rd, Houston, TX 77064). This free outdoor event is a celebration of our amazing participants—adults with Down syndrome—and their families, volunteers, and supporters.
We’re looking for dedicated, friendly volunteers to help us make this event joyful, smooth, and unforgettable for the community we serve.
- Help transform our space into a welcoming, festive picnic area! Volunteers will set up tables, chairs, tents, signage, and decorations. This role is ideal for early risers and team players who don’t mind light lifting and working behind the scenes to create a fun environment.
