Position Overview: The Community Liaison Intern will assist in building and maintaining relationships between the organization and the local community. This role involves supporting community engagement initiatives, gathering feedback, and helping to implement strategies that align with the community's needs and values.
Responsibilities
Assist in organizing and attending community events and meetings.
Help gather and analyze feedback from community members.
Support the development and implementation of community outreach programs.
Facilitate communication between the organization and community stakeholders.
Assist in creating informational materials and resources for the community.
Provide administrative support for community engagement activities.
Help maintain records and documentation related to community interactions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Enrolled in a degree program (preferably in public relations, communications, social work, or a related field).
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Passion for community engagement and service.
Organizational skills and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
