Shell Hebert Career Tech Academy

Shell Hebert Career & Technical Academy (SHCTA) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization based in Missouri City, TX. Founded by Shell McClue, we serve youth and adult learners ages 13 and up through education, workforce development, and community-centered initiatives. Our mission is to empower lives through education and opportunity, creating pathways to employment, entrepreneurship, and independence while strengthening families and neighborhoods.

SWe provide hybrid academic programs, career readiness training, mentorship, and life skills support designed to prepare students for real-world success. Beyond the classroom, we operate The Bridge Pantry, host student support circles, and offer community workshops that promote wellness, stability, and workforce connection. Through these efforts, we create safe spaces for growth, second chances, and meaningful community engagement.
