StandOUT Youth INC.

StandOUT Youth is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to shifting the trajectory of young lives through Christ. Our mission is to lead youth into a transformative relationship with Jesus through life-on-life discipleship. Our vision is to see a generation of youth deeply rooted in Christ, loving, following, and sharing Jesus.

We began as a grassroots effort to provide mentorship and support for teens in Houston. Over time, we grew into a Christ-centered discipleship program that combines the energy of community gatherings with the depth of personal, ongoing relationships. Volunteers play a vital role in this mission, walking with teens as consistent voices of encouragement, truth, and hope.

We accomplish our mission by creating spaces and relationships where youth experience fun, fellowship, and faith. Each week, we host BLOCK Parties—safe, high-energy gatherings with music, games, and community time—that open the door for teens to connect with caring adults. From there, the heart of our work happens in life-on-life discipleship, as mentors walk with teens beyond the events, sharing meals, offering guidance, and showing up consistently in the ordinary moments of life.

Through these gatherings and relationships, StandOUT provides a place where youth can belong, be discipled, and be equipped to follow Jesus. Volunteers are essential to this process, whether helping create a welcoming environment at events or investing personally in the lives of teens.
