Thank you for your interest in volunteering with Tony’s Place. We’re excited to welcome dedicated individuals like you to our team. As a non-profit committed to supporting and empowering LGBTQ+ youth ages 14-25, Tony’s Place provides a safe space, key services, and valuable programming.
Volunteers are crucial to our mission, and we offer various roles, including:
- Clothing and Hygiene Store Attendant: Assist clients with selecting clothing and hygiene items, and ensure access to clean shower facilities and products.
- Laundry Attendant: Provide laundry services to ensure clients have access to clean clothing.
- Kitchen Team: Help with meal preparation and service.
- Greeter/Bag Attendant: Greet clients, manage bag check-ins, and share information about programming.
To get started, please complete a volunteer application. After approval, you can choose from various opportunities and schedule shifts at your convenience. All in-center roles require a background check through Sterling Volunteers, and volunteers must be at least 26 years old to work in our drop-in center during service hours.
