STEM Career Panel Panelist
Bridges to Science's Houston Science Festival-Scratch Day is seeking passionate and creative STEM professionals to join us as a STEM Career Panelist. This annual event kicks off Hispanic Heritage Month on Saturday, September 7, 2024. It aims to inspire a curiosity for STEM(Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)fostering a love for science within our community of underserved students in grades 5-12 and their families. As a STEM Career Panelist, you'll play a key role in this exciting event and inspiring the next generation of STEM leaders and enthusiasts!
Responsibilities:
~Share personal and professional journey in STEM field
~Provide insights and advice to aspiring young scientists and engineers and their families
~Participate in a panel discussion with other STEM professionals
~Serve as a role model and inspiration for attendees
Qualifications:
~Proven experience in a STEM field
~Strong communication and public speaking skills
~Passion for inspiring the next generation of STEM professionals
