Westbury Community Garden (WCG) invites the community to celebrate World Bee Day. WCG will host a celebration 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. May 18th at 12581 Dunlap Street Houston, TX 77035. This educational event and fundraiser promise an exciting lineup of activities for all ages, highlighting the importance of bees in our ecosystem and promoting sustainable beekeeping practices.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with our honeybees through an observation hive, as well as enjoy these other event offerings:
- Renowned Westbury Honey from hyper-local hives packaged by Nicole Buergers of B2B Honey Collective
- Kobee's Lip Balm, packaged in eco-friendly, no-plastic tubes ethically harvested
- Phoenicia Specialty Foods’ Traditional Baklava and Persian Baklava Cake
- Honey Almond Artisan Soap
- Invisible Ink Painting bee craft
- WCG’s Many Faces of Bees photo booth.
