Nature Day is an event that highlights nature related organizations, along with a birds of prey show and public youth fishing. This event is on Saturday, April 6th, 2024 from 10 AM - 3 PM. Public Youth Fishing occurs from 9 AM - 11 AM. You must email seacenter@tpwd.texas.gov to choose your volunteer activity and sign a liability and photo release form.
9 AM - 11 AM - assistance with youth fishing including netting fish, using fish grips for photos, assisting with fishing gear.
10 AM - 3 PM - assistance with photography, checking in guests, parking lot attendants, floating pier to assist with fish feeding, information stations.
