"Restoring Heritage" is a community-driven volunteer initiative focused on cleaning and restoring a black historic cemetery, a place that holds significant cultural and historical value. By volunteering, you'll not only contribute to the beautification of the cemetery but also pay homage to the individuals who played pivotal roles in shaping our community.
Please join DON - Volunteer Initiatives Program in the following in the cleaning and restoration activities:
- picking up debris
- Raking of leaves
- Trimming and disposing of tree limbs
- Leaf blowing
- Edging of graves and bushes
- Lawn mowing
