The Houston ToolBank will be throwing its 2nd Annual Virtual Walkathon and we are looking for volunteers to help support our kick-off event!
To kick off the event we plan to do a group walk while also cleaning up and beautifying our neighborhood. Our goal is to collect all the trash around our local park and surrounding areas. All attendees will receive their own trash grabbers to take home so they can continue to beautify Houston while they compete in the walkathon.
We are looking for 10 volunteers to help with the setup of the event, takedown of the event, registration, and participation in the clean-up event.
Event Location: Selena Quintanilla Perez Park, 6402 Market St, Houston, TX, 77020. We will meet at the Houston ToolBank across the street from the park, 1215 Gazin St. Houston, TX 77020.
