Wonderful opportunity to volunteer with The Mayor's Office for People with Disabilities for the upcoming Mayor Sylvester Turner Disability Celebration on Saturday, September 30, 2023. The annual event celebrates the history, culture, advocacy, and contributions of the disability community in Houston. The event will be held at 1475 West Gray Houston, Texas 77019 from 9am-11:30am. A waiver form will be provided to volunteers onsite the day of the event.
Volunteer responsibilities include:
- support the prepackaged food distribution at the event.
- volunteers will be provided with gloves.
