Beauty’s Community Garden is looking for a personable and engaging person, who is an enthusiast about Beauty’s Community Garden’s mission. The role of this volunteer is as a program assistant or "host" - being the ‘welcome face’ so attendees feel taken care of and comfortable. Our year-round programs focus on (Gardening & Cooking Healthy.) Classes typically have less than 15 attendees - due to the size of the workshop space in the garden. Most classes are held at the garden: 3201 Airline Drive, Houston, TX 77022, hours: 8am-10am (May to Mid-October) and 9am-11am (Mid-October to April.)
As an added benefit you have the opportunity to sit in on each class.

- welcome attendees and help them sign-in
- assist with getting attendees settled
- provide support to the instructor
- pass out and collect program surveys
- break down event and put back program materials into the the storage building, on the garden’s grounds
