Wonderful volunteer opportunity to join the COH Volunteer Initiatives Program and JustServe for upcoming 9/11 National Day of Service. In tribute to those fallen and affected by 9/11, volunteers' responsibilities shall include but not be limited to headstone cleaning/washing; tree mulching/spraying; painting; cleaning/sweeping; garbage pickup, etc. Please join us in the effort honoring those fallen in this sacred location, the Houston National Cemetery on Saturday,9/9/2023. Bring: gloves, hats, close-toed shoes, sunscreen
No Age Restrictions: Families are welcome! Anyone and everyone are invited as long as young children are with a responsible guardian.
Teams will be assigned upon arrival.
Parking: available parking onsite and volunteers will be directed upon arrival.
We ask all volunteers to be respectful while on the Houston National Cemetery property.
