The Community LUV Program assists people who are experiencing homelessness in an unsheltered environment. Participants are greeted & invited at 9 am with coffee and pastries. Opportunities are available for participants to enjoy a hot shower, receive a complete change of clothing. & haircuts. Everyone is then invited to sit and fellowship and enjoy a well-balanced hot meal.
Volunteers are needed on Monday, May 15, 2023, 8 am - 2pm for any 2 hour block of time or for the entire event time to assist with: setting up (8am-9am), greeting & registering participants (9am-11am), assisting participants with clothing selection9am-12noon), distributing hygiene packs, (9am-12noon); serve meals, (12noon-1:30) clean up, breakdown and re-set the service room (1:30-2pm).
