Second Ward Super Neighborhood 63 is looking for student volunteers interested in upcoming Earth Day service-learning project on April 22nd. Volunteer check-in will be at 8:30am. The service-learning project will be at Eastwood Park located at 5000 Harrisburg Houston, Texas 77011. All ages are welcomed, unaccompanied youth should be at least 14 years old. Light refreshments and breakfast items will be provided onsite. Waiver forms will be emailed once volunteers register and will also be available onsite. Gloves will be provided, but if you have your own, please feel free to wear them.
Volunteer Description/Responsibilities:
- weeding and cleaning flower beds
- spreading mulch
- trimming bushes
- planting flowers
