Summer Teen Volunteer Program
Volunteers in our summer teen volunteer program are focused on supporting our Operations and Education programs. They may serve in one of three different areas:
- Guest Experience Team – These volunteers engage guests in the museum with short presentations at exhibits and other guest service roles.
- Explorer Camps – Teens serve as classroom assistants in camps for children 4-11 years old. They prepare materials, assist with classroom activities, and escort campers throughout the museum.
- Space Center University – Teens serve as classroom assistants for our engineering-focused Space U camps. Volunteers for Space U must be at least 15 years old.
NEW! Summer teen volunteers that meet their commitment will be able to volunteer throughout the fall semester at weekend and evening events.
