Save Lives - Shuck Cancer!
The Houston Young Professionals for the American Cancer Society (HYP4ACS) committee invites you to volunteer with us at the first annual Shuck Cancer Houston event on November 9, 2022! Your support will make a meaningful difference in the American Cancer Society’s mission to save lives, celebrate lives, and lead the fight for a world without cancer.
Below are our volunteer shifts for Shuck Cancer. Please click on a link to view and sign up for a shift. Shortly after sign up, you'll receive a call from the Houston American Cancer Society Team.
There are no qualifications required to volunteer for this event.
Day Before Event: November 8th
- Tasks: setting up the venue for the event: table placement, material placement, general event logistics and setup
- Shift 1: 10 AM – 2 PM - 10 volunteers needed
- Shift 2: 2 PM – 6 PM - 10 volunteers needed
Day of Event: November 9th
- Shift 1: setup, registration, auction, general assisting - 1 PM – 4 PM - 10 volunteers needed
- Shift 2: setup, registration, auction, general assisting - 5PM - 9 PM - 30 volunteers needed
- Shift 3: teardown and cleanup - 8:30 – 11PM - 30 volunteers needed
