This volunteer position requires training and knowledge of the organization's services and procedures. It will involve directing our guests (the homeless who come to us for services) to their desired service on our campus. Services vary day-to-day. -- Ideally, the volunteer for this position would be able to commit to all three days needed (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday), although even 1 or 2 of the three days would be helpful. Please contact us regardless of your availability days. -- Training will be live during service times. Patience and even temperament are required as this population can be difficult at times. Arrival by 7:45 would be helpful since services begin at 8:00 a.m.
Note that we are closed all major Holidays, the day after Thanksgiving, and the week between Christmas and New Year's.
