Freewheels Bike Connectors assist customers as they receive bicycles that will provide a way to get to a job, to school and other destinations.
- Select an appropriate bike for them from our inventory.
- Fit them with a helmet and reinforce how to ride safely, using their lights and hand signals.
- Help them learn to use their bike lock.
- Do it with a smile and have fun!
This assignment requires a customer-service orientation and patience in helping people who may have limited English language skills. Mechanical skills are not required; bike mechanics will be on-site to help clients with bike fit adjustments as needed.
Children younger than 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
