DSAH is looking for volunteers to help us at our Hoopla Cheer Station at the Chevron Marathon on Sunday, January 16th.
DSAH is one of the selected charities that participate in the Marathon's Run for a Reason program. We are responsible for setting up a cheer area along the marathon to promote us and cheer our DSAH runners on.
We are looking for as many volunteers as possible below are the details:
What will you be doing? Helping us cheer on the marathon runners! The DSAH station is at the last mile so we are that little push to help them get over the finish line.
Where do you park? – Parking is FREE at Polk & Milam
Where is the DSAH booth?- DSAH booth is located on the corner of Lamar and Louisiana in front of the Kinder Morgan building (better instructions on how to get to the location will be sent out the Thursday before the event.)
What do you bring? – folding chairs, warm clothes, and posters
DSAH will provide complimentary breakfast, snacks, and water.
