MAM is looking for a volunteer to help answer live calls on the Houston Immigrant Resource Hotline and connect callers with local resources. The Immigration Rights Hotline is a source for referrals to legal services providers and immigration attorneys. The Hotline also provides timely and accurate information about changing immigration policies and is a place to report discrimination and racial profiling.
Please read the details below before responding:
- Must speak Spanish
- Every Wednesday, 9am - 1pm CST
- In person, at our Main Campus (1625 Blalock Rd., Houston, TX 77080)
- Answer live calls on the Houston Immigrant Resource Hotline and help connect callers with local resources
- Help with the scanning of files when needed
