The Alliance seeks volunteers for our Thanksgiving for Refugees event on Saturday, November 20th to help newly arrived refugee families celebrate their first Thanksgiving in the U.S.
Volunteers will help with:
- Event Set-up
- Distributing Food to Families
- Managing Activities for Kids
- Crowd Control
- Interpretation
- Event Shut-Down
Event is outdoors at 6440 Hillcroft Ave, Houston, TX 77081. Volunteers will be required to wear masks.
Shift is 10am-3pm, Families welcome! Lunch will be provided.
