The Alliance seeks volunteers to help us sort and organize donations for refugees arriving in Houston.
Volunteers will help:
- Accept donations from generous community members
- Organize donations
- Prepare donation packages to deliver to refugee families
We are also looking for volunteers that can help to:
- Deliver donations to refugee families
- Pick-up donations from generous community members
COVID-19 safety guidelines
- Temperature checks upon arrival
- Masks required
Important information:
- Volunteers will need to stand and moving around for long periods of time
- Volunteers may need to pick up boxes of up to 25lb
- Volunteers may need to assist with moving furniture
