This project is Community Garden Build Day for the Vision Community Garden on the Booker T Washington High School campus. Please join Westbury Community Garden as we assist the Agriculture Program at BTWHS to build a wonderful community asset. The 12 raised beds will be assembled from kits (lumber and corner connectors). We should have perfect weather for this outdoor project on Saturday.
Work starts at 8:30 AM. Please meet in the cafeteria. Light breakfast/snack and lunch will be provided.
Ends at 2:30 PM or when the project is finished.
This event requires only 6 VH volunteers to supplement the build team. Individuals or a team of 6 may sign up.
