Agape Development provides free childcare for program participants. This overcomes a significant barrier to being able to attend programs. By volunteering your time, you are giving peace of mind of safe, affordable, and reliable childcare. There will be a staff member with you.
Childcare is needed Tuesday evenings, 6:15pm-8:30pm; This is a twice a month commitment. You can choose which two Tuesdays of the month to volunteer. You can also volunteer more than twice a month.
Through listening to the needs of our community, Agape Development's programs accomplish our mission: to transform our neighborhood by preparing Christ following, independent, community leaders. Our children's ministry teaches Biblical principles and literacy skills. Our teen ministry offers teens a chance to learn work and career skills with the Agape Shaved Ice Program, as well as biblical discipleship. Our adult independence classes teach financial independence and the soft skills needed for employment, as well as encourages community leadership. The Women's Ministry and Young Adult Ministry programs are developed to holistically nurture a neighbor to become Christ-following leaders in the community.
