This is a remote-from-home position with a potential for full time employment once funded. As a 501(c)3 nonprofit with a very limited budget, we are staffed principally by volunteers - skilled volunteers.
This is a volunteer opportunity and no compensation will be given for this role. Applicants are encouraged to apply who are passionate about service to the community and willing to give back in service with their time.

The Management Team and Board of Directors at Harvey Nexus Inc. is looking for an experienced Talent Recruiter with a passion for humanity, sustainability, service to the community, human resources, and those working to make the world a better place.
Have worked as an HR Recruiter before and looking to take on a new challenge.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with Executive team and board members to ensure a strong understanding of the role requirements, accountabilities, and career path opportunities for leadership, volunteers and commissioned positions.
Proactively source to secure talent based on current and future business needs, leveraging diverse recruiting resources including volunteer and employee referrals, professional organizations, educational institutions, cold calling, and networking to identify and recruit the best talent and ensure a diverse applicant pool.
Identify and select appropriate advertising and sourcing methods and resources using a wide range of media, Internet job sites, conferences /job fairs, etc. using independent discretion.
Review, evaluate and screen candidates for skill level, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements as well as for core values and culture fit.
Represent and promote the Harvey Nexus Brand, core values, and key aspects of the role to candidates.
Consult with and coach the Executive team through the selection process, provide an overview of pre-screen to hiring managers, and make recommendations for candidate interviews.
Conduct and document post-interview feedback with hiring managers and candidates
Use CRM to manage candidate flow and ensure compliance with documented hiring processes, reporting needs, and integrity in all recruiting efforts.
Meet recruiting timelines and goals, including metrics, as established by the Executive team and Board of Directors.
Know, understand and ensure personal compliance to all Harvey Nexus teammate, volunteers, employment and recruiting policies and procedures
Authoring and posting job opportunity advertisements on job boards and social media.
Creating internal recommendations.
Administering interviews.
Taking advantage of digital recruiting resources.
Acquiring and sorting candidates through various sources and platforms.
Carrying out various administrative duties.
Managing new-hire on-boarding paperwork/orientations.
Other duties as assigned.
Management experience within the last 5 years
