MAM is looking for a volunteer to help as a Document Scanner for our Immigration Legal Services Program! Our Immigration Legal Services helps our community with a variety of immigration matters, including family-based petitions, lawful permanent residency, naturalization/citizenship, humanitarian-based petitions, and DACA renewals. This is an in-person volunteer opportunity, and ideal for someone who works well alone on detailed administrative projects.

Scanning Documents (must be performed in office)

Monday and Wednesday, 9am - 12pm or 1pm - 4pm

3–4-hour commitment on Monday and Wednesday
- Spanish-speaking not required, but helpful
If Spanish-speaking, you may also be asked to help with:

Returning of general voicemails of clients calling MAM’s Immigration and Legal Services Program

Translating and Organizing Documents

Training will be provided by Immigration/Legal staff on how to respond to questions and what to say; scripts will be provided.
