Monitor recycle, compost and landfill bins to ensure waste is properly sorted, and will track items that are deposited in bins. No trash touching required!
First shift will set up the recycle, compost and landfill bins. Final shift will help weigh collected materials at end of event.
Outdoors. Masks required.
Youth under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Youth under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.

Earth Day Houston at Discovery Green, presented by Green Mountain Energy in partnership with the Citizens’ Environmental Coalition is designed to educate, inspire and encourage action. The event features exhibitions, a panel discussion and live mural painting. Exhibitors will be spaced out to allow for social distancing and masks are required. Online viewing options of the panel discussion will be provided.
