MAM is looking for a Bilingual (English/Spanish) volunteer for one 3-4 hour shift per week our Family Assistance Program!

As a volunteer in our Family Assistance Program, you would be the first point of contact for those who are seeking assistance for themselves or their families. It is an important role as you would gather initial information from clients, help clients with services, direct them to other services, programs or persons, etc.
It is a great opportunity for someone who is interested in a career in the social services field, someone who is looking to gain some experience, a Spanish speaker who would like to practice their English, someone who is retired, or someone who wants to help others in their community!
The position is 3 or 4 hours per week, same day and time each week, and our current openings are Mondays 9am-1pm or 1pm-4pm, Tuesdays, 1pm-4pm; Wednesdays 1pm-4pm; Thursdays,9am-1pm or 1pm-4pm, Fridays 9am-1pm. Moderate computer skills are required and a minimum 3-month commitment is required.
