*Currently recruiting summer teachers* If you're compassionate, fluent in English, and can volunteer for at least 4 hours per week, we want YOU to help a small group of Houston adults learn to speak English. You'll meet some amazing people, experience the joy and fulfillment of helping others succeed, and know that you're making Houston a better place for all of us!
NO prior teaching experience or second language is required. If this volunteer opportunity is for you, we'll train you, match you with a small group of adult learners and support you as you get started on the exciting and hugely rewarding activity of helping your neighbors learn English as a second (or third!) language (ESL)
Volunteers are needed for in-person evening classes Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday. Training to teach summer classes will be offered in March and April. Summer classes start the week of May 16.
