Global Scholars aims to increase high school graduation and post-secondary acceptance for refugees in 11th and 12th grades. In this community-based program, mentors are paired with students in 11th or 12th grade from three Houston high schools. Each mentor guides a young refugee for a period of at least one year to help the student develop and reach his or her personal, academic, and career potential.
We will be interviewing volunteers throughout summer. You must be 21 or older, have a college degree, own a vehicle and be able to commit for a full year term.
