Description

This volunteer position assists the Business Operations Specialist in providing general administrative support for a chapter or satellite office within the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • In coordination with the Business Operations Specialist, the Front Desk Receptionist Volunteer will provide general administrative support within assigned location to include:
  • Greet persons entering the local unit, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destination
  • Collect, sort, distribute, or prepare mail, messages, or courier deliveries
  • Check visitors in and direct or escort them to specific destinations
  • Provide information about the local unit, such as location of departments or offices, employees within the organization, or services provided
  • Answer telephone calls and take messages or forward calls to appropriate department or individual
  • Copy, file, and maintain paper or electronic documents and records
  • Perform various administrative support tasks

Qualifications:

  • Valid Texas Drivers license

Time Commitment: Shifts available, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm, afternoon help from 1pm-5pm especially needed
