Oktober Festival Day Two: Oct. 20, 2018

Description:
On the third Saturday of October, we will be hosting a night full of festivities to continue celebrating the centennial event. The Czech and Slovak cultures have deep-rooted traditions that go beyond one hundred years of history. We want to give our guests a chance to experience the unique elements of these Eastern European cultures that traveled overseas with our migrating ancestors and remain a significant part of the American way of life.
We will be serving a dinner full of traditional European dishes. An open bar will be available stocked with a variety of refreshments that include fine wine and original Czech beers. As the night continues, we will be offering the chance to learn the popular Eastern European dance called the Polka. People will be instructed by a certified dance professional who has performed in and won multiple dance competitions.
For our guests with young children, we will be providing family-friendly entertainment for the kids. Parents can be assured their children will be enjoying themselves as they themselves can socialize and enjoy this wonderful evening of tasty foods and lively entertainment.
