Lead school-aged children, scouts, and other groups on interpretive tours of the Redbud Hill Homestead and the Akokisa Native American Village.
No experience necessary. Training will be provided.
The best way to get started as a tour leader is to tag along on a guided tour. Experienced guides will lead the way in demonstrating the routine and a Pioneer Tour Guide Handbook with tips and talking points will be provided.
Nature Tour Guides are only needed Tuesday and Thursday mornings during the school year. (There are no weekend opportunities for this post.)
New volunteers must first download & complete the attached volunteer application form. Because we work with and around children at the park, the county requires that all volunteers submit to a criminal background screening. (at no cost to you)
